Nem & softy ID please

Hi,

Was told this is a small carpet but I think it's a rock nem. The second pic has me stumped as I have not seen one before. I was given these 2 rocks along with the carpet/Nem in a bucket. The carpet/nem managed to attach himself to one of them before I got it home which is keeping the one rock from opening up like the other one. The guy said it was brown hairy stuff on the rocks and he just didn't want it period however it is not brown he just had lousy lighting LOL it is kind of a dark pink. The thing is it looks and feels like a gsp mat but the polyps are different. Does anyone know what it is?

The second one looks like Briareum...Grows similar to GSP

The first one reminds me of a mini maxi carpet, but I am no anemone expert.

Yeah i was going to say briareum too because of they way its growing as a matt but didnt know how to spell.

Be careful those can multiple rather quick. I started with one and prob have 100 now all over the tank

I have a number of the mini-maxi/Stichodactyla tapetum, mine are identical to yours. They are extremely hardy, not big movers once they find a spot.

This is where I got the Stichodactyla tapetum, link offers some info for you.

If you cut it in half through the mouth both sides will heal and you will have 2 also if you are brave enough. I used to cut every maximini i got

That looks like the ones found in bali (ie weird bumpy tenticale formation)
I have the Caribbean type-lots of interesting things lol
Threw me off at first....Ive never seen them in a pic before wonder if they will breed with the Caribbean type.

That would probably create some beautiful rock flower if they could [emoji3]

I'm brave enough! I used to frag rivcordia mushrooms sever years back [emoji12] I think I'll wait for this guy to move though as he has a good footing in that rock. I'd really prefer it to grow a little more as well.
