Alright guys so I have a 25 gal lagoon with a kessil light over it. It has bubbletips and zoas and I was curious are actinic blue lights or white lights better for growth?

Any BTA I've kept under Kessils seem to have better growth/color with the blue spectrum.

Okay so I have the kessil controller and it confuses me. When I'm setting it if I want to give it more blue do I need to keep the color percentage at a lower percentage?

With the older controller you have only intensity and color. I would peak the intensity around 50-60% and wouldn't go past 10-20% on the color. Definitely keep the color on the blue end or whatever appeals to your eyes. I would run a 12 hour lighting period ramping up with a 4-6 hour peak and then ramping back down.
