It sure can. As you can see I even have the NEM guard. They aren’t very smart lol

It looked real bad lol. These guys just can’t seem to figure it out. Luckily my tanks are stable and the nems can handle the stress. I’d say this happens every nine months or so. Fingers crossed as I have yet to lose one.

I beg to differ. The anemone is neither smart or dumb rather, it is the reefer that is not smart here, because he expecting the brainless anemone to be smart.

Maybe they need a slow steady flow like the type that is around the intake of a pump or filter and that is why may like to settle on them or maybe it’s the best place they can find food?

Yeah they are crazy. I would agree I’m not the smart one. Lol at least I put a guard though. Still doesn’t help. You win some you lose some.
