What coral can you never seem to keep alive no matter how many times you try?
For me it’s zoas and palys. They melt every time, but sps, lps and other softies grow with no issues. Not upset about it either

We just started our new tank in February and so far have had great luck with all kinds of corals. No deaths yet. We do have issues getting Zoa's to open fully, though. We just put them in about a week and a half ago, so maybe that's it, but every day they slowly open a little bit every day.

For many months in the early stages of my tank (there's the issue right there) I couldn't not for the life of me keep blastos alive, tried 2 and sadly killed both. I now have 2 that are doing very well.

My all time nemesis though has been this zoa that although it's been in my tank for 7 months has produced 0 buds lol every other zoa I have regularly buds except that one. I started with 2 and 7-8 months later still only have 2. I hate/love that thing. I have made peace with the fact I will never have more than 2 and I am (hnnnnng) OK with this.

I have largely zoa colonies sps and lps but I could never get firecracker clove polyps to open al the way no matter what. My water parameters are stable but no luck. Nevertheless Look at these zoas. They seem to do great in my tank. thx

We have some firecracker polyps that are doing awesome. But we can't get Zoa's to open. I feel ya! lol

My acans seem to waste away. I'm have some in a new tank that seem to be doing o.k. but, time will tell.
