We have a 525 reefer with nems and a 250 reefer with nems. The nems in both tanks are all splits from the same two originals. As you can see in the one picture the one's in the Reefer 250 are starting to look bleached compared to the others in the 525 even though they are feeding and look generally healthy.
The bleached one's are in a more recently upgraded set up with all the original rock but new lights (change from 1 AI Prime on a 100ltr Nano) and weren't like this when we put them in.
  • 525 lights Maxspect Razor
  • 250 lights Hydra 26 HD 2 off
  • Daylight Schedule same on both
  • p04 & N03 higher in 525 & low in the 250
  • all other parameters are very similar
  • 27 Nems in 525
  • 12 Nems in 250
  • not had a spilt in the 250 since transfer
The 250 Nems just look skinny if that makes sense, they grow & they have changed colour ( although this is nice) .
Not sure if we have an issue to worry about or whether they are just changing because they want too.

I'd probably agree it's to intense. I had a led strip above my nem probably 5 inches away at 100 intensity. Since I've switched tanks it is becoming tonlook like the first pic...one of them atleast

Thank's for the comments, I've turned the lights down a bit so will see how it goes.

Another thing I've learned is that when they are receiving my flow they bubbles come back. I like them more stringy personally
