Has anyone used this product in there cal reactor? It’s a supplement for magnesium. I was going to try it out but was wondering if anyone is using it at the moment. Did you notice any difference? Thanks, Danny.

We had a discussion about this on our local reef club forum, and someone mentioned that you need a much lower pH to dissolve the Brightwell stuff than you do to dissolve Ca reactor media, meaning if you used the Brightwell product and crushed coral together the aragonite media might turn to mush, so a separate reactor for the Brightwell product was suggested if you were going to use it.

Finally someone with some helpful input. Thanks, I was wondering at what ph this stuff would start to break down. Did anyone come up with that? Not that I’m going to set up a reactor for this. I’ll just keep using the powder stuff. Thanks, Danny.
