Neon Birds nest dying?

hey guys i got myself a 3-4 inch branch of neon birds nest from a local guy, had it in my tank for about 2 weeks the polyps came out nicely the body was brownish looked nice and healthy, about a week ago my long tenticle anemone decided to go for a float and stung the bottom portion where its glued to my rock up peeling off mostly the brown and some polyps noticed the tips of the branch fading out and the blown skin coming off. not sure is it my tank or light or chemist thats off and not making my tank thrive it?

I see polyp extension which is a good sign . I say let it be and If it comes to worse you can always frag it

Yah the polyp extension is decent just faded out in some zones i just got a new light maybe it’ll help it grow my last one was said it can’t support sps or lps
