Neon Green Algae

I’ve had this neon green, nasty algae in the sand bed only. When I try moving it, it seems like it’s slime that moves in a quarter size of chunk.
It’s only in certain areas.

Please help !

Could be green cyano (or possibly something else). I can quite see clear enough.

Ya, it sure either. I just want to delete it naturally though

I have the same thing on both of my 200g tanks. Also had GHA in 1 of them - but that's now gone. Green turf like algae still remains. Had a Diamond Goby to help stir things up but he jumped. Where he was active, the green algae was gone. Need to get another one.

I’ve actually done a couple lights out darkness and it helped. I don’t have anymore left. Also I kept nutrients under control and that helped.
