Picked up a neon green favia for my Biocube 32. You can see where I have it placed. About upper middle on the side. I got it about 2 weeks ago. It seemed like it was doing great. It’s had its feeder tentacles out both during the day and night when I first got it. Haven’t really noticed it opening up like that since then. The last couple of days I’ve noticed it start to turn a little brownish. I’m just running the stock LEDs and it’s probably getting low to medium flow. Any thoughts if it’s too high, to low? Shouldn’t be water parameters as I’m stable at about 8 ALK, 440 calcium, 8.2 ph and 20ish nitrates. Everything else is doing great.
Thanks for the help!

I typically keep my favias on the sand around 100-125 PAR, not sure you'll get those numbers on the bottom with stock Biocube lighting. Do you know your PO4?

Yeah not sure I’d get that on the bottom. Phosphates were .07. Just tested them today. Tested my ALK too and it was lower than I was expecting at 7.3 and calcium was higher than expected at 520. I’ve added a few new LPS. I B probably need to adjust my doser too. All other corals are doing great.

Your numbers look good, I wouldn't adjust you Alk mid 7's is fine and typically what I run my tanks at. I would just give the favia some more time to adjust, if it puts out tentacles I would feed it very small amounts of food such as finely chopped LRS, mysis or reef roids.
