I am dosing Red Sea Nopox to reduce Nitrates. They have currently stalled and I have zero Phosphates with my Hanna checker. Can someone check me with the dosage requirements of Neophos. Bottle says 1ml will increase P04 to 1.2 ppm in one us gallon. So if I have 250 gallons of water, five drops from the pipette will increase to 0.024 ppm?

I've never been in your exact situation. But I have dosed NeoPhos. 2ml in my 160gallon (actual water volume) moves my phosphate about .015ppm.

I've been in a similar situation with carbon dosing. I don't know how high your NO3 are but I would start with only a couple ml every 24 hours. Generally I would only add 1 ml to my system at a time in a 24 hour period, then test again. If no phosphate was present I would redose another ml.

Definitely don't ovedo it. ;)
