I added this guy two days ago, and he’s just been limp the entire time. He also came off the live rock he was attached to and still hasn’t attached to his new spot.
29 gallon
Ammonia/nitrite 0
Nitrate 20
Salinity 1.025
pH 8.2
I don’t have a phosphate testing kit.

Also - the only source of flow in my tank is the hob filter (coralife filter/skimmer combo). I’m wondering if maybe either those might be the cause? I added some zoas the same day and all of those have opened up.

And Phos may be part of issue . Location plays a role with these guys and mid tank is best under medium light and flow with occasional iron and manganese added to water. Blow on it with gentle bursts from a turkey baster which perk it up

Are these guys more sensitive to P than zoas? Because my zoas seem healthy.

I’m thinking of buying a power head on Amazon during prime day (July 11). Can he make it til then?
Maybe if you move it directly in front of your filter. If it’s not waving around at all even then though I’d get it some flow asap.

Yes as well as elevated temperature and lack of flow

Why not just buy 1 now, and return it after you buy it on Prime date. Prime date delivery is end of weak. What you can if you need temp powerhead, is go to petco or petsmart and buy a power head which you can return in 15 days. I don't do this, but if it's a emergency might as well. Low flow will kill some corals because water stagnation. Not sure if it'll live till next week, so it's up to you if you want to wait.

Good point.

Flow.

Bacteria on skin. Mine just went through that and I have wave makers etc.

Here's from bad to worse to better

Flow flow flow.
