Hi I’m a new member. I’m glad to be a part of R2R. My AFS will start a feed cycle as programmed however, it comes out of the base turns clockwise 1 full turn then turns counterclockwise a half turn retracts into the base upside down and binds to a halt. Looking for any ideas? I have a video to follow.

Take drum out and manually cycle the feeder without the drum in place. Once the turning stop and it retracts. Push drum in and cycle again manually without the drum and see if it corrected itself

Older post I know, but I had this same issue! BRS sent me a new one. It seems to be related to how much food is loaded into it. If I keep it only about 20% filled, it works fine. But if I exceed that even by a little bit, it does the same thing. I bought a used one that's about a year old. When they're running side-by-side and empty, the older one is SLIGHTLY slower, but works fine no matter how much food is in it. I wonder if they "upgraded" the motor at some point and it's just too weak to handle very much load.

Also, is yours REALLY noisy? I have 3 (two new, 1 old) and they all sound SUPER loud. Like the insides are grinding.
