Same here. Ha mine for 3 years and works flawlessly. One word of advice though. when filling it and putting it all back together do it away from the tank. When I first got mine I filled it and was trying to put it all back together, and the cap popped off dumping all the food in the tank. I learned that the hard way, now I pull the whole thing out, fill it up, put it back together making sure the cap is seated right then put it back over the tank.
Like a month so id think i need one. Why do you have 3?I think getting the AFS might be overkill, depending on how long will your vacation be. An Eheim feeder would certainly cost you less.
That said, I have three AFSes that I use when going away for a week or more...

I have three AFSes for the three different systems I'm running. My most recent lengthy trip was only for only 9 days (Amsterdam). For your really long a trip, you might consider two AFS to cover your outage and to make a more varied diet (consider http://www.bulkreefsupply.com/saltwater-fish-food-pellets-piscine-energetics.html for one of the AFSes). You'll need to test the AFS feeding regimen before your trip for at least a week, and NEVER make any changes to your system for at least two weeks before you leave...
That said, I have no idea how many different fish you want to feed...
Will your trip allow you access to Fusion for monitoring your reef? My next vacation (Havana), has internet connectivity that is quite questionable...
Yes ill have Internet that's reliable. Ill also have a webcam to check up on things. Im feeding 14 chromis and 1 yellow goby. They eat only micro pellets.5mm. I feed them 2-6 times a day a tiny portion. Im only concerned about reliability of the afs. Dont want it breaking down. Ill likely set up my battery operated one too just in case.
how did it work out?
I've seen that some people will put the feeder into the sump and let the return pump send the food to the tank.I had an AFS but sold it. Works great (aside from the sound), but I was not happy with the look. Its a big unit, and on a small rimless tank, it does not look nice. Plus, since I wanted it further from my rear center overflow, it had to be mounted on the side of the tank, making the wires visible.
Wish there was a way to have a more hidden unit, but that is likely not workable.
Anyone find a solution to make this look nicer?
What foods have you guys used in it? I just don't want to be stuck buying the Neptune food. Also, I have a copperband that won't eat anything but squid or shrimp. I always feel bad for him when I feed other stuff and he doesn't get anything to eat.
