Is there one, at this point? Been good for me. But last night all of it failed me. 4/5 outlets and all modules. Had to spend 4th of July holiday going to Home Depot and replacing 4 EB8s with traditional power strips and old school timers. Got it all together and opened a ticket with Neptune, but geez... I lost 80% of my outlets. And all of my PM modules. And they are all connected to separate AC outlets, dedicated to each, all the way back to the circuit breaker box. Makes sense to have a spare of everything on your tank, and now that includes all of the Neptune devices.

Ghl, maybe hydros in the future

Thank you for mentioning HYDROS. We haven't settled on an exact date, but we are eyeing an end if summer launch.

@NYCMAN

Here is a recent live video we did that that explains how HYDROS differs from other aquarium control platforms.

The Control 4 will be $399.99 and the Control 2 will be $199.99. They each come with WiFi power strips and you can add more for $40 apiece. The controllers look slightly different now than they do on the website (picture in this thread is current); same with the outlets (not sure if I am allowed to share a picture yet).

Some accessories have been announced. But there are just as many that haven't yet.

One of the main goals of HYDROS is to declutter your cabinet of cables, controllers, modules, and power bricks. With that in mind, we're excited to reveal some of the other things we've been working on very soon!

any update on this.

I believe we're eyeing a late September launch now. We got some really great feedback from hobbyists and beta testers that use other aquarium controllers. They shared some challenges they would have moving from their current system to HYDROS. Suffice to say, we've added additional capabilities to make untangling yourself from another platform easier.

You can sign up for updates by clicking the link in the Facebook post below. You'll know when we're close as they'll be a flurry of marketing activity. We haven't said much publicly because we know the other guys will do anything they can to take the wind out of our sails. But it ain't gonna happen. ;) The days of paying a fortune for an aquarium controller are about to end.
