I am looking at a 90g cube (36x24x24) and will be getting an apex for it. Trying to figure out if there would be any benefit to get 2 of one type of gyre over the other. maxspect, jebao or icecap gyres are what I’m seeing as options. Cheap off brand knockoff? Or well known brand name?

I don't think jebao are reliable for long term use.

I tend to agree with that, more upfront cost for longer term use with the maxspect or potential issues early on for less

2 maxspect gyres can work off one of their gyre controllers and has worked well for me.

You might be able to get by with one of the larger maxspect gyres, if you go with 2 I maybe get the smaller version due to the short lenght.

I would 100% go with maxspect. I have 2 xf250s and I just got an interface module to use 0-10v dimming from my new apex. Totally worth it!
