Neptune Apex Humidity Sensor/Probe

I see your problem. You need one of these (or similar- you may want a industrial quality version):

4-20mA is a current signal, ASM reads voltage. Since your sensor is putting out constant voltage, but varying current, your asm is reading the constant voltage.
That makes sense....! Thanks figured it was smart enough to switch from mA to volts...

I changed it to 0-5volts and unplugged it all, restarted and the number is new, just have to wait and see if it updates...
If the sensor is 4-20mA output then no. apparently reef2reef doesn't like amazon links- google search "4-20ma to 0-5v converter"

Found them! Thanks! Is there a directionality to these converters? some say V to amp and some are amps to volts, does it matter? I know Im going from mA to Volts, but in reality is there a difference?

I would assume there is directionality, but I am not sure

This is a cool thread. Want to bump this and see if anyone else is doing this. Or has other cool Apex ASM module projects.

I set everything up and I get humidity of 100 when it is actually 70 any suggestions ?

You will need to play with the max and min values. For mine I have the max set to 82 and min to 0 to get close reading in the range I measure.
