Is it ok to put my ATK in the same chamber in my sump as my return pump?

I assume you’re talking about the holder that holds the float valve and optical sensors?

Yes, The return pump chamber is the chamber where the water level will change, so that is where you should place the optical sensors

That's where i have mine in the return pump area seems to be the best place

I have mine there also. It is the area in the sump where water level fluctuates

One thing I did with mine was to move the upper optical sensor higher in the sump so it was just below the level that would cause my skimmer to overflow, then I added a line on the skimmer outlet that turn the skimmer off if the upper sensor was under water.
