Hi,

I am new to Apex, so apologies if this has been asked/answered already.

I have configured the AWC using the @SuncrestReef tutorial guide (great stuff, thank you).

I would ideally like my water changes to happen Monday - Friday, and I think I can do this using the DOW command, but at the same time would like to add a daily small amount of salt water (from my clean reservoir only) to replace that used by auto tests . Is this possible to do?

If it helps, I could look to exclude the DOW, and just do smaller changes each day, and then have the manual add from the clean reservoir each day too? This is so that I can replace water from the auto tests I am doing …

Thanks for any help!

Yes under advanced you can exclude Sat and Sunday from the DOW water change
If DOW S-----S Then ON

also you can set up a profile for dosing pump to add however many ML back to your tank per day.

Thanks for this.

Just do in understand, @Jason_MrFrags, if I add this line of code for DOW, will this apply to both the auto water change and also to manual dose? If so, that’s great? But how do I add the manual addition of clean salt water only l, leaving the AWC running as it was set by the Tasks wizard?

Thanks again!

I think you could set up a profile for the manual dose of NSW, then add a "If Time" statement to run the profile at your chosen time.

I also use DOW in my AWC. Mine is not set up with the task/wizard, I used manual profiles so my code will look a little different. My code (below), allows my AWC to run for 24 hours on Saturday only. The profile is setup to change out about 5 gallons in that time. I can also change 1 gallon at a time with the Feed D button (time set for 5 hours).
