So I have the DDR and the DOS to go with it. Do the fittings on top of the DDR that holds the tube come apart ? I have air entering and I believe that’s where it is coming from.
#1 side is very tight didn’t want to break it so I stopped, but #2 is loose just spins and the acrylic tube attached to moves with it.

Is this right ? I’ve been searching forums all night to try and figure out the air issues in my lines. I’ve read a lot of things , some say the acrylic tube is glued in to far up some say the tubing hits the o ring inside the Jon guest fitting preventing air tight seal. Really need a fix for this before I just get rid of it. Thanks

The acrylic rods are glued into their fittings. Every DDR (and DOS) I have owned has leaked at the fittings unfortunately. I have replaced all the fittings with the Jon Guest fittings which worked for a while, but those eventually started showing air bubbles and leaking as well. If you just unscrew the fittings on the top of the DDR, the whole piece will come out.

I found the leak on mine to be at the interface of the push-connect fitting with the vinyl tube. Idk these fittings are meant for low negative pressures on soft tubes.

I tossed the fittings and pull the vinyl hose over new acrylic tube ends and put those in the DDR. I added a few wraps of electrical tape to make it a tight fit at the DDR. Add a little zip tie around the vinyl hose where it pulls over the acrylic tube for peace of mind to keep it tight but no more bubbles in the dose lines. Its not as pretty but pretty comes second to dosing consistency.

I was thinking something like that. My number two is stripped I think because it just spins.

Thank you. I think my # 2 fitting is stripped. It spins but does not tighten
