Neptune DDR question

What really irked me was that Neptune wouldn’t just sell and send the part. They want the DDR shipped back to CA for diagnosis and repair. When the V2 optical sensors came out, I asked again if they would make the new V2 optical sensor set ups for DDRs available for sale to V1 owners... crickets. :(

I'm sure it was to ensure the "high quality standard" of gear, can't have some scrub end user fixing their design mistake ;)

OP, just sell it and buy a res that works properly. If you must use level sensors, ebay or DIY is very easy to add them to the DOS, as linked earlier.

Yea I’m considering it. We’ll see how it goes. The DDR should be here any min lol

I've been using two of these for years with no problems. I overfilled the Magnesium once and started to struggle with the tile disappearing. So weird,.. I fiddled with it for a while, and finally found this hidden screw. When I discovered that unsealed board I was dumbfounded! There is literally a path from the sensor straight into the board. What?!

Ugggg. I'm not buying another one , that's for sure. I'm thinking that maybe I can solder the wires together and remove the board. It's completely corroded now anyway.
