Neptune DOS and converting 3 part to 2 part

I may get a DOS to dose my Randy's three part. However, with only 2 pump heads I was wondering if anyone incorporates their mag into the calcium part of the three part to make a true 2 part? I know it must be possible because of the existence of products like C-Balance.

Mag is depleted so slowly I just dose it by hand if needed once a week. Alk and Ca however I believe is best dosed daily, preferably automatically.

You cannot combine the calcium and magnesium parts of the DIY recipe. That's why I made it a three part.

The sulfate from the magnesium sulfate will precipitate as calcium sulfate.

Commercial two parts use a different source of sulfate, likely sodium sulfate, and put it into the alk part.

I now put the Mag in my ATO whenever I finish a gallon of 2 part. It's not very often.
