I was referring to his comment about simply adding a float switch and using an IO port in conjunction with my Neptune ATO high/low sensors. Not sure how that be any better than what I am currently doing.

I totally see the value in the "ruler" sensor and can think of a number of applications that would work nicely in. I'm definitely in for two or maybe three when they're available.
I was wondering if anyone has thought of using the LLS with the Red Sea ATO/float valve?
I have “experimentally” added a LLS to my Red Sea Reefer ato/ float thing…the thinking being no more failed sensors, ato error, et et… the on/on cycle for refill should be greatly reduced….
Basically I was going to somehow program my FMM module just to fill up the ATO reservoir instead of a constant on/off cycle using the FMM module… sorta best of both worlds was my thinking …

here are the two ways I was thinking of trying : one using the old setup (as a comparison) and the other using just a line and no float backup…
another was to hook up directly to Red Seas float valve
