I was considering following the recommendation of @SuncrestReef to use the Neptune PMUP to feed water to my fuge (Reefer 525's converted ATO reservoir) vs chewing up one of my ports on my manifold for it. I use the PMUP for ATO purposes on two of my tanks today, so its noise levels don't bother me that much, but if I were running it 24x7, it would drive me crazy.

Have any of you been successful at dampening it? I'm slightly convinced that most of the noise is vibration, since it usually sits at the bottom of my ATO container, so what strategies have you guys found to handle that? Product links?

Hmmm, mind is in a brute trash can (and maybe it hovers above the bottom) but it doesn't make much of any noise. I hear water spraying from the anti-siphon fitting moreso than the pump itself. Interesting to follow this one.

I listened closely to the PMUP that's in the bottom of my glass Innovative Marine ATO container and realized all of the noise is from the pump vibrating against the glass. I'm going to get some of the previously mentioned OXO silicone pads today and that should solve my problems.
