Neptune Pmup....?

What's up with the pmup? I can't seem to get my hands on one. Every place I look to buy one says "out of stock"! And they've been out of stock for a while now.
Anyone know what's going on with the pmup?

Pmup was updated to pmup V2 to match the ATK V2 they are like mid swap.

I can understand the Trident being hard to get...who doesn't want one of those but the pmup??? In any event I guess I'll just have to wait like everyone else!

of course my pmup is not working and went to order a new one and out of stock everywhere. killing me.

Try disassembling and clean the impeller hole well. There is a known field issue and yes, they have come out with a version 2 which many owners have jumped on due to past known PMUP issues. I believe in the next couple of months, they will be plentiful

I will give it a try. Already took apart once and it was pretty clean inside. Person I got it from who I trust said it was running right up to when he sold it to me.

All clean as a whistle. Green light on FMM mod ule. Even tried pump plugged directly into eb832. Pump not doing a thing.

try running scotchbrite or similar over the magnet. When you plug unit in, do you feel a hum? (indicator magnetic drive is producing power)

No hum. and plugged both into FFM and to EB8. Nothing for either.

Unit may very well be dead.
Contact Neptune support and tell them of your issue. They will create a ticket, and may also replace it for you (no gurantee)

Yes. Serial number will determine that.. They will ask for serial number. Does your friend have receipt?

He may have the receipt....but definitely out of warranty. I'm just going to buy a new pmup. They are not that expensive...but hate to buy another V1 when V2 pmup is out there.
