i just asked this question last week but it wasnt about the apex lite or the RKL. i asked if the apex and the RK what one was better and most said the apex is better. here is the link to the thread i made.

In my opinion, they are too different to be fairly compared. The RKL is significantly cheaper, but the Apex Jr. can do quite a bit more. Its not really apples to apples. A better question like this would be to include parameters of what you need to control now as well as in the future.
