Question

lookin into a trident tester for my reef.

I see that the unit uses an intake line, but speaks of not using a lot of water for the sample.

my question is, assuming a small 3’ run of tubing, how is the unit testing actual, current, tank water. Isn’t it testing older water that’s been in the tube for some time?

Thanks for the help

It flushes the intake line each time prior to testing.

That’s such a small amount. I guess I was thinking the intake line was 1/4” I guess it’s smaller with those volumes. I appreciate all the answers.
