Trident issue
When I installed my new reagent and followed the process the Calcium readings were zero twice. I then re-installed the old reagents and ran the install process again. The numbers all went back to normal. I then again went to new reagent and started from scratch. Calcium went back to zero. It appears to me I have a bad batch of reagent. Open a ticket with Neptune and MarineDepot. I also order more reagent and I am expressing to
Me. I did have about 10 test left in B/C hopefully it’s enough. any way have a similar experience

There's no logical explanation for this unless the reagents are bad.

I believe there should be an error as to why there was no result. Flashing RED “description” above the Trident tile if there was an error..... *A zero result without and error just means the result is “out of range”.

Could be that the old reagents were calibrated so far off from what the new reagents are reading that your getting “0”

**This was sent to me for troubleshooting a few months ago when working thru a situation.**
“Put the new reagents in the trident and then go thru these steps.
  1. Run the reagent replacement task in Apex Fusion
  2. Click on the gear button on your Trident tile and select configure trident
  3. Check mark factory defaults
  4. Update the Trident
  5. Wait 20 seconds
  6. Uncheck factory defaults
  7. Check Restart Trident
  8. Update the Trident
  9. Once the Trident has finished initializing run a combined test
  10. The values reported will be incorrect, that is OK, run a second combined test
  11. Make sure the numbers between the two test are within 0.5 dKH and +/- 50 ppm on Ca/Mg
  12. If (11) is true, then calibrate the Trident using the Trident Calibration task. If (11) is not true run one more combined test to see if the second and third test fall in the appropriate level of precision- then calibrate. If you still don't show precision, then please respond in your support ticket
If calibration completes correctly return the sample line back it normal location and set your schedule to your desired tests per day.
