I replaced my trident reagents a few days ago and have been getting strange results so I figured I needed to recalibrate. My calibration water shows dkh 8.1, calcium 415, and mg 1340. I primed the line and mount those numbers. Clicked calibrate and got the values of ALK 7.38, cal 463 and mg 1315. Shouldn’t I get numbers close to what the calibration fluid shows????

The trident has really messed with me the last few days since I changed the reagents.

Now at noon my trident re tested as Alk 8.39. I followed up by testing with my Hannah meter and got an Alk level of 7.1. This is crazy! I don’t know which to believe.

Run a regular set of tests (not the calibration task) using the calibration solution as water sample. Then you should certainly get the numbers listed on the calibration solution bottle. Also make sure you didn’t kink the reagent supply tubes when you replaced the bottles. It’s easy to do.
