Has anyone heard when these are going to start being more readily available?

I think people are starting to get them more easily, but I may be wrong. I know several people have gotten them, so the demand can't be as extreme as it once was.

Are you on any "notify me when available" lists?

Neptune spent two years hyping them up but forgot to budget for some basics... like actually making them. So probably not for awhile

I remember sleeping in front of a store all night just to get 1 of 12 Sony Playstation 2s avail at that retailer. Crazy how Mfgrs create hype. That Christmas a PS2 that retailed for $299 was being resold for $600 by those getting their hands on it. I was one of those ppl, got two, sold one for $600 cash that made the one I kept FREE2ME.

I signed up for notifications on BRS and MarineDepot and haven't heard anything in awhile. I think I got one notification about a month or two ago and wasn't at the computer in time to get it.

I just got a email from Marine Depot 36 min ago saying it was in stock. Clicked on it and it's sold out.

Looks like it's still selling fast.

Reading around, what little information I could find is that 10-20 units are being shipped to vendors on a weekly basis. I don't understand what the issue is with so few units shipping out 3 months after being released but at this point I'm tired of being honeydicked by ns and am losing interest real quick. Perhaps they are waiting on units or parts from China.

Have to remember you are also fighting the sharks who keep snatching them up for marked up resale.

Still selling on eBay for $1200-$2000.

I am still on the BRS list which I signed up for the day they released it. I have not seen them available anywhere.

Hard to know what is fact, and what is idle/uninformed speculation. While I was not surprised that these things were initially scarce, I am a bit surprised that they continue to be so. I would have thought that Neptune could have ramped up production by now - though I suppose it may actually be prudent on their part to not do so if it exceeds their abilities for quality control. What DOES seem true is that the Trident should have been priced higher than $600. Very low price elasticity it appears.

I mean we have all been doing this manually for how long. They will be slowly available.
