Hey all,

Just a quick question. What exactly do the percentages mean when programming the Neptune Wav?

Like right now mine is on constant at 50% but the flo chart shows 10? Shouldn’t it be reading like 5? Since I’m assuming percentage means 50% flow or am I completely crossing something?

Ive checked the instructions and they’re less than helpful regarding percentages.

Lol hey now…the Wav came with the tank when I bought it. I actually have no complaints about it
Hey, nothing beats "free" (or at least included) Have you checked out any YouTube videos? Sometimes the odd (low view) user one has just the information you're after.

The number is related to the turnover of your tank (if you configured it). Add the Flo tile if you haven't already, then click on the gear icon next to it:

That will get you to this screen where it's explain a little bit.

I just installed some WAV pumps and I was wondering what the FLO was too. Do you know how it is calculated? Isn't turnover usually flow (gph) ÷ volume of tank (gallons)? That can't be how apex is calculating it, because the turnover number should be considerably higher.

You can click the ? in the upper right for a little explanation, but it doesn't really say how they get their Flo #.

FLO is:

  • Tank volume turnovers per hour, capped at 200
  • Normalized to a scale of 0 to 10
  • Using a nonlinear scale, much in the same way that earthquake magnitude is expressed using a nonlinear scale; more differentiation at smaller values, less differentiation at larger values.

Just found this gem in there too ;Joyful
7 - 10That Guy; the one who spends a lot on pumps, and wants you to know that he spends a lot on pumps. That Guy.

Thanks I seem to always forget to the help icon in the corner
