I’m going to order new wave makers for my 60g cube which will have a carpet nem and few odd and end lps and softies in it. How many Nero 3 should I get

I think at that size you'll want 2 Nero 5s. Nero 3s are pretty small.

If you follow the 20x-40x rule, that puts you at 1200gph to 2400 gph. Two Nero 3 should give you controllable turbulent flow.
