Hello all,
I recently switched from the Red Sea ReefWave to a Nero 3 powerhead as the ReefWave was way, way to much for the 20g tank. My question is, how do you determine what settings to use and what power to push? Right now I have it on random with speed at 6% with a max of 10 W/high variance. I also have it set at pulse usually around 6pm to 10 and it's set at 7% with one second on and five seconds off and then for the rest of the night it's set at constant speed 4%. AI says the Nero 3 is good for a tank like mine, but there are no good directions on finding a sweet spot, I have two clowns and about 12 frags that just got added over the past two weeks and the tank has been up for about 13 weeks. Any help would be appreciated, as I am lost.

Trying to find the sweet spot is simply trial and error. Cube's are probably the most difficult.

For me I just added one and I just watch how to corals react and what they like but I wouldn’t keeps adjusting it could take them awhile to a just to the flow

Thank you both. I was thinking on adjusting it where it doesn't push more then 5-7% because the clowns are now hanging in the bottom of the tank. The Goni seem to not be extending like it usually does, but idk.

I have the Nero 5 in my Waterbox 20 and I currently have it at 1% to 4% on medium. The tank is stocked with torches, zoas, duncans.

Thanks Miguel,
It's alot of guidance about the Nero 5 but the 3 is not as strong as the 5 so I looked at the recommendations for the five, but they wouldn't equate to the 3.

Could one of you tell me what this is either coming out the coral or trying to get in???
