Nero 3

Hello there I recently been having problems with my ai Nero 3 pump. It recently stopped working and I'm getting a red blinking light on the controller. I've took it out cleaned it multiple times even tried to reset the controller and pump but it's still not working. The pump is only couple months old has anybody else had problems with their pump and if anybody could help that would be appreciated

I would try a citric acid bath if you have never done one. It removes mineral build up

Try unplugging it, holding button and plugging it back in. Continue to hold the button for 10 seconds, it should blink red. Then release the button and it will reset. If that doesnt work check if anything is clogged in it ten call AI.

Unplug and plug back in to reset. When you turn the pump back on, does the pump itself make an audible squeal or do you see the propeller try to move at all?

When I clean mine and don’t put the propeller on just right, it jams then squeals like 3 attempts before shutting off. Then it blinks red indicating a jam or malfunction.

Ya I've done all that and still doesn't turn on it will stay blinking red

Mine does that when it’s jammed. Have you fully disassembled it to clean?

Agree, try opening it and see if a lil snail or something got in it. Happens to my Nero 5s every so often.

This. If you've tried all of the suggested steps above, contact AI. In my experience, they're pretty good about standing behind their products (part of the reason for the premium prices).

Very good about standing behind their products. I sent back a Hydra 64 I bought second hand and they replaced the clusters for free. Not sure why. Also had a couple month old Prime swapped out. Both were very quick turnaround.

Ya I took everything apart and soaked in citric acid over night and still doesn't work

I also have a Nero 3 not working.Have tried all things mentioned here.No blinking lights on mine.The propeller will turn about three times then stop.Turn on pump manually it does the same thing.
