Nero 5 - 1.5” Acrylic?

Hi All,

My new tank is 1.5” acrylic, can someone offer some solutions on how to possibly mount my Nero 5 on this thickass acrylic or another possible powerhead?

Not aware of any powerhead that has a magnet strong enough for 1 1/2" walls. Vortech maxes out at 1", as does WAV. Tunze offers stronger magnet kits, you'd have to check to see if they can go that high. Hydrowizard might, but they are crazy expensive. You could also have the tank builder 'thin' a round area for you (I had this done on my tank), but then you're stuck with just the one spot. Otherwise you might need to use some kind of bracket.
