They get a little build up but a simple vinegar bath for 2-3 hours clean them right up

They are fine and designed to go behind the unit and power cord, so they can’t really fall off.
My guard did have some very fine hairlike plastic in the holes that needed to be manually removed by me. I’m assuming that it was a byproduct of the 3D printing process.
