Nero 5 pump on a 3/4" glass

Anyone have experience with this setup? I want to get a nero 5 but will it work on 3/4" glass?

Looks like 5/8 is the maximum glass thickness. I have 3/4" glass so I haven't tried a Nero 5 on it, but I have other equipment rated for thinner glass and it does occasionally slide a bit.
