Hello R2R,

I'm new to this forum but not new to the hobby (20+ years). I recently set up a Nuvo50 from IM and with my build, I am using an AI Nero5 (which has been wonderful btw). I remember a common complaint about this sleek design is the one wire to the powerhead is hard to hide - and since IM tanks are open-top designs, it becomes extra tacky-looking. I may have a solution and figure my first post would be to give something useful to our community - so see what you guys and girls think...

Here is what the wire looks like from the side.

I cut thin strips of double-sided black tape and put a few along the top rim of the glass.

Here is turn the corner and the wire falls down the back through some wire loom.

These pictures are super close up, nobody notices the small tape strips. The only downside to this - the lid doesn't sit quite as flush. However, you would have that problem anyway running any wires over the top of the glass. Hope this helps somebody!

Love it. I run my Nero's back to front so I don't have to worry about hiding wires, but have been thinking about adding a side flow. If I do I'm definitely going to try this
