Nero5, 40 gallon nuvofusion, ideas for placement

Hey all, how's it going. I'm looking for some suggestions on placement of my power head. Also maybe some info on how to time the on/off cycle to create a resonant wave or any info on how I could time it, like indicators count the time for wave to hit other side etc. Photo of tank attached (the corals are pouting I changed up the flow and was experimenting) Everything usually looks happy/healthy.
My tank is a nuvofusion 40 AIO basically
20"×20"×20".

IM 40 protein skimmer
Sponge pads nothing fancy at all
And UV filter set for algae 4hrs/day

LPS, Softies, Anemone
Feeding
1/4 cube mysis every day
Flake EOD
AB+ 15ml daily
pellets for anemone 2× a week
Mysis for LPS once a week
Reef Roids for softies every third day

That's a cheap UV filter I bought but it says it's best for ich and the like so I just run it 6 hrs a day.
