Nest Cam on Apex Fusion

Does anyone know how to get a Nest Cam to stream on an Apex Fusion?

I understand it might not be straightforward. Here's the progress I've made thus far:

1. Enable public streaming in Nest settings.
   
2. Use the URL to grab the m3u8 link, using this site: https://www.ispyconnect.com/userguide-nest.aspx
3. You can test your link on http://hlstester.com/ .. The Nest should now stream.
4. You can download one of the m3u8 links, which give the name of the *.ts files.

This is what worked for me. Does NOT require any specific browser as long as you can get to developer mode (I did it in Safari on a Mac) **this isn't mine, copied from another thread**:

4-Step Process for Nest Cam/Nest Cam IQ (New Units)

1. Share your camera publicly, and find the link to share it. It’ll look like this… (this isn't my actual UID of course)

https://video.nest.com/live/ueuUueADjK.

2. Open MICROSOFT EDGE and paste that URL in the Address Bar. Right click anywhere on the video screen and select Inspect Element.

3. Find the line that looks like this (search for “playlist.m3u8” without the quotes)…
<source src="https://stream-us1-alfa.dropcam.com:443/…/062…/playlist.m3u8" type="application/x-mpegURL">

4. Copy everything between the quotes (https://str.....playlist.m3u8), but DO NOT copy the quotes. Paste that line into the MPEG4 option in Fusion.

Updated to reflect new HTTPS protocol on Nest Cams.

Yea that worked in Edge, but not in Chrome. Was doing some research and it has something to do with the HLS video format, don't know much more beubey that.

Just in case anyone is wondering... this is possible!

After some trial and error, I have it working!
