i found a Netgear WNCE3001 wireless adaptor and was wondering if this would work on an apex jr.

Yes that will work, but if you loose connectivity with the Apex I would first look at the WiFi adapter for issues.

It would. but you are MUCH better off getting a wifi range extender with an ethernet port to directly plug into the APEX or powerline adapters.

Sorry for the late responds. It actually worked perfectly. I sold it with the apex lite I had and just got back into another tank and have an apex jr and I'm buying another one

Not quite sure. I did it on the wall so I'm not sure. I actually just won 2 of these last night on eBay for $21. Lol

I bought the 750 model and I spent 2 hours trying to get it to connect to my router, but gave up.
Totally frustrating.
