I just wanted to post this thread because its something that I personally have to take great caution and care with. NEVER leave an active siphon unattended in my opinion you can have the most fail proof system to prevent flooding and then blow it with an active siphon for whatever reason. PLEASE never leave an active siphon unattended for whatever reason!
