Never got dinos or cyano outbreak

I would like to know if anyone got to a year mark without getting a dino or cyano outbreak who started with dry rock dry sand. Is it ever possible?

Very possible assuming good stable chemistry and nutrient level.

Generally these bad guys show up when chemistry is fluxing and nutrients, one or both, zeroed out. They love that environment and can multiple fast in it.
