Any ideas what this is? I think I saw two black attenas coming out from under it.

Hard to tell from pic. Does it move?. Initial thoughts are flatworm or sponge/tunicate.Any ideas what this is? I think I saw two black attenas coming out from under it.

It seems like it’s turning. The white mouth looking thing in the middle was going north to south. Now it’s going east to west.

Mouth would suggest a shroom but never saw one that color.It seems like it’s turning. The white mouth looking thing in the middle was going north to south. Now it’s going east to west.

That does look like a close match. As someone else posted, it looks like a black mushroom.

I haven’t added anything to the tank in a couple months. Lol. Reading up on it, they may go after some SPS, but other than that seem to be reef safe. I’m going to keep an eye on him!

Agree- Elephant snail. There is mixed reaction as to being safe around SPS coral although they feed primarily on algae and sponge.
