Agreed

However if you have a BB and no CUC tank I think it would be perfect!

I think the thing chillin' on the top, left side of the tank, is the RoboSnail's charging base. You can avoid issues with sand, easily, according to the documentation. When you set it up, you program the depth that it cleans. The documentation recommends that you set it to a depth of 3" above your substrate. LOL It's kinda cool!

last article i read was dated 4-14-11and said they were slated for delivery later this year. video was from 5-2010

Website says they'll be available, in 2011, but no updates beyond that...lol.

They'll retail for over $200.00!

Not a bad price since the hammerhead scraper is about $90.

the video is strangely choppy, I say they are pulling it with fishing line LOL

perfect gift for that ultimate couch potato.....
man how lazy you gotta be

And here I am just wishing for more stomatellas....
I have ONE, that's right...one poor lonely Stomatella. I looooooove the long wavy antenna; they are like snail bunnies, so cute!

The thing I hate the most is cleaning around the edges, corners and bottom. Looks to me like this would not get that done!

I noticed that too, but then I noticed that the fish are choppy too...lol

Yeah, this thing won't go around corners, and according to the website, it's the "owners responsibility" to set the depth at 3" above the substrate, so it won't scratch the glass with sand. So, you'd still have to manually clean that 3". The website does say they're looking at creating on that will go around corners, but I just don't see that happening.

It is pretty cool though! LOL!

this is a cool idea if it works. it'll help me since I be workin' 2 jobs and 2 young'uns. Lately the most attention i've been giving "Miranda" has just been passing glances.....
