So I took a rock out that had numerous bristle worms, rock now gone. However, i found these. I wish i could give a better pic, but this is the first im seeing these, any idea? Good bad? Look like mantis shrimp but have no clue

It looks like a amphipod but It could also be a type of tandaid shrimp. Both are harmless. Your pictures look like a little of both lol

I was thinking that it was likely some type of amphipod, but what is a "tandaid shrimp"? :confused:

I misspelled it lol. It is late here and didn't have my glasses on. It's tanaid shrimp. They are in the class Malacostraca. Some look similar to gammarid amphipods and are usually harmless grazers.
