Never seen a candy cane coral react this way to food

I just added reef fuel and some reef roids to my reef tank and my candy cane corals have reacted to food in a way I've never seen. They heads puffed way up and I can almost see right through them. Is this normal?
I've never done reef fuel and roids in the same sitting i usually add the fuel the day before roids so i decided to switch it up idk if adding them both is why.

Right! I'm thinking it's an exaggerated feeding response..
