NeverWet product on skimmer cup?

I've seen the product and i hate a dirty splattered skimmer cup so I was wondering if anyone has used this in the cup itself? Maybe even the foaming neck but I'm less interested in spraying that section.

I saw a thread about someone talking about using it but they never actually updated it on the results. I don't think i'll need to worry about it being reef safe if it's in the collection cup but I'm curious on all your thoughts about this and it's application

I'd still be concerned about it being reef safe because not everything that hits the collection cup stays there.
