Well couldnt stay away from the hobby long wife wouldnt have it lol. So i decided on a 120 this time. Good thing i saved alot of my equipment from my 80 build

So i started with building a custom stand and canopy of course we argued over color glad we went with white this time. So stand is 2x4 and 2x6 framed skinned in oak ply inside is lined with pvc board and bottom 8inches is water tight just incase .
Canopy is same wood with 2 linaer actuators for auto lifting

Looks neat and tidy!

You're off to a good start.. definitly waiting to see progress...

Btw, what are you upgrading the mp40s to? Just curious..

Stand and canopy came out great!

That stand looks awesome!

I'm about to start building my stand for a 4ft 120G and from my drawings it looks like you have a lot more room than I do inside. Did you use the rocket engineer design or something more lightweight?

The tank looks brilliant and great pictures as well!

Very nice indeed

I used a kregg jig to pocket screw so i could keep everything thing on edge gives more room screw and glue everything

!!! Awesome build !!! Following>>>

Ah, I see it now on your pictures. Clever and clean.
It's my first stand build and I am not very experienced with wood work so I don't think I want to chance this approach even though I am certain is perfectly fine if done right
