I'll will post some pics shortly. I am in the process of building the custom stand. Question i have most of my other equipment. Would it benefit me to make up some RODI water in a big rubbermaid and mix with salt for when the tank is ready. I have Marco Dryrock, should that be soaked as well? Is their any pros or cons to making up water ahead of time. Just one less step down the road when i start the fill process.

If you have the space to cure/soak your dry rock ahead of time, I would recommend doing so. Container of saltwater, powerhead or small pump for circulation and heater if needed. Just let it start curing while you're putting the rest of your system together. Ifor it cures long enough it may help speed your cycle. I say may...but the cycle is not something to rush.

No reason not to pre-make your RODI water ahead of time as long as you keep it sealed. Then you can mix your salt before you're ready to put it in the display.

Just a little input and obviously my opinion.
