Hello, i was thinking about setting up a new 125g tank. I am not sure yet of its gonna be FOWLR or not. For the sake of argument lets assume im going to be putting corals in there.
So here is a list of all the equipment im gonna be putting in there and suggestions or advice is much appreciated.

30g sump
[h=1]Eheim 1262 Universal Pump (900 GPH)[/h][h=1]Hydor Koralia Evolution Powerhead Evolution 1500 (1500gph) X2[/h][h=1]Reef Octopus NWB200 8†Pinwheel In Sump Protein Skimmer[/h][h=1]Eheim JAGER TruTemp Aquarium Heater 250 watt X1[/h][h=1]Hydor Smart Level Controller Auto Top Off[/h]
Also if anyone knows of a good starter light for a decent price please give me a heads up.

Since im already here if anyone would like to comment on my stocking list here it is.

1 flame angel
1 powder blue tang or powder brown (blue hippo but i dont think he will "fit")
2 clown fish
3 gobies (if they would all get along)
1 six lined wrasse
5-7 random damsels\chromis probably blue sapphire damsels

Would go with a 40 breeder for a sump. 1/3 is recommended for a sump for flood purposes

From what I've read before (I have no experience) the blue hippo would probably be okay for a little while but eventually would need a 7'+ tank. And I agree damsels may become too aggressive I would go with chromis (I feel like I read they're related though, not entirely sure)

Your list is almost identical to what I already have on my 125RR. I will tell you that single Jager will not keep the temp where it needs to be. They are massively overrated. I got that one in 300 watt and a cobalt 250 watt.

Also add a ReefKeeper Elite controller.

+1 On the 40B If you can fit it. Offers so much more space.

+1 On the heater not being strong enough. prob going to need two 250W Them Jagers claim to heat a lot of water. Check out all the other heaters. Most claim a 300W would be for a tank around 80G. Especially after what ReeferBob just stated. I wouldnt trust their claims.

What about any reactors? Carbon, Biopellets, GFO, Kalk.
